This is where you normally find an endless list of accomplishments and titles, I l will keep it short (google can tell you EVERYTHING about me in 15 milliseconds) , I came to the US on a swimming scholarship, competed in World Cups etc, made the Hall of Fame of my alma mater in 2012, won a lot of stuff, So I am obviously insanely qualified.
Since then,I established myself as a respected fitness and nutrition expert within the industry and in NYC while winning the Musclemania championship twice.
I even wrote books, shocker I know! And contribute to Muscle and Fitness, Crains, Muscle and Strength But here is the bigger question: What can I do for you?

So far, I am happy with the training, I see and feel steady progress with my posture , strength , energy levels , my shoulder issue is much better now . I am a middle-aged woman, who trains twice a week at Maik gym . My motivation was to gain strength and learn to train the proper way, also had some issues with my left shoulder and upper back ( sitting hours on the desk and computer) . Maik creates a specific program for each individual taking into account your physique, your goals , your age, diet . Your progress is monitored and gradually adapted to accommodate more load as you become stronger. They are meticulous with form and very focused at each session to make sure , you do enough to see gains but not overtrain and injure yourself - muscle recovery is an important aspect built into sessions . The staff are supportive and it’s a friendly atmosphere , but focused when training . Maik has also a lot of online tips and videos to supplement the training if you want to complement your training . What I really like about it - it’s a no- nonsense, down to the tacks , kind of training. You put your trust in the trainer , he does the work of monitoring your progress and planning the necessary changes to you routine to see you progress - you do your part and watch your diet ( they do have an app for monitoring your nutrition) The gym is really state of the art - I have been in this city for 30 plus years and experienced many different gyms . This gym stands out . The gym equipment is designed in such a way as to not only maximize gains but also prevent injuries .
